Wellbeing is the missing link in many training and employment programmes.

Unfortunately, unemployment and poor mental health feed off each other. Research has shown that people with mental health problems are less likely to be in work¹ and that unemployment carries a heightened risk of deteriorating mental health.²

Supporting residents to manage their well-being and develop positive mindsets helps to halt this negative cycle, so they get more out of the training you offer.

empower the journey into work

It’s hard to get back in the driving seat when you’re feeling disempowered.

Lack of confidence, self-belief and motivation are key factors linked to long-term unemployment.*

Fortunately, there’s a variety of practical techniques that can enable tenants to take control of these issues and manage them proactively.

These new-found capabilities can prove invaluable at any stage in the journey into work - and beyond.

Attendance can make or break a training programme.

Fantastic content targeting great outcomes can still fall flat if it's not delivered in an appealing, accessible and engaging format.

We address this using a unique format that blends well-being with creative skills and activities.

For example, our highly popular creative writing programme teaches a broad variety of well-being skills, including positive communication, mindfulness meditation, self-compassion, positive mindsets, and accessing flow.

Haptivate is different to other training providers.

Our goal is to make well-being accessible to as many people as possible so a portion of our income is used to fund community outreach projects.

Every time an organisation chooses to work with us they contribute towards delivering this important work.
